Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance on Android in Romania, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the navigation and maps app market in Romania showed dynamic trends across the top 5 applications on the Android platform. According to Sensor Tower, the following insights highlight the performance of each app in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating slightly, peaking at approximately 15K in mid-December. The app had a stable number of weekly active users, starting from 1.77M at the beginning of the quarter and ending with 1.64M.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer had a modest performance with downloads starting at 5.6K and decreasing to 3.4K. Active users showed a gradual increase from 9.1K to 8.5K, maintaining user interest throughout the quarter.
